An Austrian gilt open faced key wound pocket watch circa 1810. The movement with a verge escapement. White enamel dial with Roman hours, an outer minute track, outermost Arabic five minute numerals and moon hands. The case with a reeded band and the back is engraved with floral motifs. Movement signed.

Christof Golling was a German watchmaker who worked in Stadtamhof near Regensburg around 1800. He was registered as a watchmaker in the list of residents of Stadtamhof with fire damage of 5.543 guilders. Golling moved to Vienna after the war, where he was active as a watch- and clockmaker around 1815.
