English 18 carat gold finely engraved full hunter Circa 1849

A good English 18 carat gold key wind full hunter pocket watch with finely engraved case, London hallmark for 1849. Gilt 3/4 plate English lever movement, cut and compensated bimetallic balance, diamond end stone. Guilloché engraved silvered dial, applied gilt Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, outer gilt foliate border, subsidiary seconds at 6 and gilt hands.
Foliate engraved consular case, inside case and cuvette with foliate engravings, plain cartouche to front. Case stamped ‘JWS’, movement signed.
