A classic hunting cased pocket watch made by Deutsche Präzisions Uhrenfabrik G.m.b.h. in Glashütte (Sa), Germany, circa 1918. The plain full hunter case is punched and crafted from 14 carat gold. The original white enamel dial has black Arabic hour numerals, an outer ring for the minutes, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and gold spade hands. The gilt movement with a typical Glashütte construction has a pallet lever escapement, bimetallic screw balance, blued Breguet hairspring, swan neck fine adjusting device, engraved balance cock, a minute and escape wheel with screwed gold chaton, rubies, blued steel screws and winding wheels with sunburst decoration, crown winding and time setting by a slide on bezel.
Dial and movement are signed, the case has the same number as the movement.
