A fine continental gold and enamel key wind open faced pocket watch made for the Turkish market, circa 1830. Gilt cylinder escapement, 3 arm balance. White enamel dial, Turkish hour markers, black outer minute track and blued steel Turkish hands. Case with polychrome enamel decoration to front and back depicting a ship surrounded by flora, fauna and musical instruments. With hard stone set winding key.
