A rare, elegant and thin Swiss 18 carat yellow gold skeletonized dress watch with perpetual calendar, moon phases and moon age made by Audemars Piguet in Le Brassus and Geneva, circa 1985. Accompanied by two certificates of origin, a leather pouch and a green leather folder with various leaflets. A solid case, glazed on both sides, the front bezel stepped and the winding crown set with a cabochon sapphire. Skeletonised dial with painted black Roman hour numerals on the outer chapter ring, an inner minute track, subsidiary dials for the months and four year cycle at 12 o’clock, days of the week at 9, the date at 3, the moon phases and moon age at 6 and blued steel kite/diamond hands. Gilt, hand engraved movement with 20 jewels, a straight line lever escapement, monometallic compensation balance and self compensating blued steel Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed.
