A fine and rare Swiss 18 carat rose gold and enamel open faced two train three automaton watch made for the Chinese market, circa 1820. Keywound two train movement. Eccentric white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and polychrome enamel scene depicting a classical landscape, surmounted by a four coloured gold automaton scene depicting a cooper’s yard, one cooper sanding and one hammering while a fountain is running, activated by a sliding lever in the band. Plain case with geometrically decorated bezel and rim.
