A rare Swiss 18 carat gold quarter repeating verge watch with concealed erotic automaton, circa 1820. Gilt verge movement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, quarter repeating activated by the pendant. Gilt-brass cuvette with central spring loaded lid, concealing the automaton scene of a couple in a partial state of undress within a boudoir scene, the male automated and activated by the repeater train. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals. Engine turned case with gadrooned band.
