Gold, enamel and pearl set mandolin form watch

A small and attractive Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and pearl-set mandolin form brooch watch, circa 1810. Gilt finished the verge movement. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals, all hinged within a mandolin form case with polychrome champlevé enamel geometrically decorated panels, blue enamel soundboard with floral and scroll decoration and a seated putto, balance cock exposed through the pearl set bordered sound hole, blue and black champlevé enamelled neck with pearl set tuning pegs over black enamel head, a short length of gold chain attached to the case and head, later added blue and black enamel decorated shaped bow brooch.
