An English 18 carat gold octagonal shaped open faced keyless lever dress watch, circa 1920. Nickel finished lever movement, 17 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance. Silvered matte dial with applied Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Octagonal case, engraved scroll and foliage decorated band, snap on back with engraved initials ‘JNV’. Case and movement signed.
