A fine Swiss platinum and 18 carat gold Art Deco open faced minute repeating dress watch, circa 1920. Nickel finished lever movement, 29 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, minute repeating on two polished steel hammers onto two gongs. Silvered matte dial, large painted black Breguet numerals, fancy blued steel hands, outer railway minute divisions and engine turned subsidiary seconds. Plain case, pendant and bow, platinum bezel, yellow gold back with platinum rim centred by applied initials ‘ESJ’, repeating slide in the band. Case numbered, dial signed by retailer, movement signed by watchmaker and numbered.
