An unusual English silver open faced keyless lever watch with 52½ minute carrousel and 24 hour dial, circa 1905-1906. Gilt finished 3/4 plate jewelled lever movement, gilt Bonniksen type carrousel carriage, bimetallic compensation balance. Silver cuvette. White enamel dial with Arabic 24 hour numerals, blued steel moon style hands and subsidiary seconds. Plain case, gold hinges and crown. Case and cuvette stamped FT London (Fred Thomas) and numbered, dial and movement signed and numbered, stamped with London date letter for 1905-1906.
