A fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced quarter repeating musical keywound watch, circa 1820. Keywound cylinder movement, repeating on two hammers, sur plateau musical movement with pinned brass disc and tuned steel fan teeth, the music activated by a sliding lever in the band. Engine turned silvered dial with Roman numerals on blank chapter ring. Plain case, ribbed band, repeating through the pendant. Movement stamped P&M and numbered.
