A fine Swiss 14 carat rose gold hunting cased minute repeating keyless lever watch with Jacquemarts, circa 1900. Retailed by M.L. Rosenblatt & Fils, Chaux-de-Fonds. Fully jewelled lever movement, repeating on two hammers, glazed dust cover. Gold cuvette. Translucent green enamel dial on engine turned background with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, blued steel back plate, all surmounted by a rose gold automaton scene depicting ‘Father of time’ and two putti striking the bells in unison with the repeating, a cornucopia below the dial. Engine turned case, repeating slide in the band. Case and cuvette numbered, dial signed, movement signed underneath a hammer.
