Open faced minute repeating keyless lever watch by Jules Jürgensen

A fine and rare Danish 18 carat gold open faced minute repeating split seconds chronograph keyless lever watch, circa 1902. Nickel finished lever movement, 20 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, minute repeating on two hammers, patented bow setting, glazed dust cover. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer black and red fifths of a second divisions, blued steel moon style hands, two sunk subsidiary dials for 60 minutes register and constant seconds. Raised, translucent red and blue enamel initials DLC and inscription Avise la fin to the engine turned case back, repeating slide in the band, split seconds chronograph function operated through a button in the band and through the pendant, pendant locking lever in the band. Case, cuvette, dial and movement signed. Comes with original certificate and box.
