A fine and rare Danish 18 carat rose gold hunting cased minute repeating split seconds keyless lever chronograph watch, circa 1902. Nickel finished jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, minute repeating on two hammers onto a gong, activated by a slide in the band. Engine turned gold cuvette. White enamel dial with black Roman numerals, outer black and red fifths second divisions, blued steel spade hands and sunken subsidiary dial for constant seconds. Plain case, split-seconds chronograph operated through two buttons in the band, engraved monogram to the front cover, hinged back. Case, cuvette, dial, and movement signed.
