A Swiss 18 carat rose gold and enamel open faced miniature cylinder pendant watch, circa 1850-1860. Jewelled cylinder movement. Rose gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, gilt star spacers and outer Arabic five minute divisions. Polychrome enamel gentleman and lady in a pastoral scene to the case back, outer rims with engraved geometric motif. Comes with an associated 14 carat gold and translucent green enamel link chain. Case and cuvette numbered and stamped MG, movement numbered.
