An English gilt, enamel and pearl set keywound open faced lever watch made for the Chinese market, Circa 1850. Polished steel jewelled lever movement. Engraved hinged cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track and centre seconds. Large case, back cover with blue guilloché enamel, polychrome enamel portrait of a lady, pearl set bezel and rim. Case and cuvette numbered and with London hallmarks.
