A fine English gold and en grisaille enamel open faced keywound verge watch with matching gilt metal and enamel chatelaine, circa 1790. Keywound verge movement, chain fusée. White enamel dial with Roman numerals. Case with chased and blue and white enamel star decorated bezels, the back with a painted en grisaille enamel classical scene, champlevé white and green enamel floral and scroll decorated border on translucent blue engine turned ground, with a matching chased scroll and foliage gilt metal and en grisaille enamel decorated chatelaine with attached cornucopia and urn with seal. Movement signed, case stamped TP.
