A fine and rare German rose gold hunting cased dual time keyless lever chronometer, circa 1880. Quality 1A 3/4 plate gilt finished fully jewelled lever movement with screwed gold chatons, blued screws, finely hand engraved balance bridge, bimetallic compensation balance with gold screws, gold lever and escape wheel, micrometer regulator, diamond endstone. Rose gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, dual time indicated by a second hour and minute hand, subsidiary seconds. Plain case, dual time operated by a button at 4 o’clock and through the crown. Case, movement and cuvette numbered.
