A Swiss 18 carat gold fifty pesos coin watch, circa 1978. Mechanical movement, 18 jewels. Gilt dial with baton numerals. Case with snap on back, hinged within a Estados Unidos Mexicanos 50 pesos coin, the front with the Angel of Independence and inscription 37.5 Gr. Oro Puro and dated 1821 1947, the Mexican coat-of-arms with an eagle perched on top of a prickly pear with a snake in its mouth to the reverse, hinged cover opened by depressing a concealed thumbpiece in the band engraved with Independencia Y Libertad. Case, dial and movement signed, case numbered.
