A Swiss gilt metal open faced keyless lever deck watch in brass case and wooden box, circa 1940. Gilt finished jewelled lever movement. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Case glazed to the back, gilt crown, in brass holder with screwed bezel set within the wooden box with chronometer issue card (No. 213) Issued from H.M. Chronometer Depôt Bradford-on-Avon and stamped 27 Nov 1942. Dial and movement signed, movement numbered.
