A fine and rare, thin Swiss, 18 carat yellow gold minute repeating keyless dress watch, circa 1920. Made by Touchon & Co., Genève, in partnership with Wittnauer & Co., Switzerland. A polished case, semi-concealed hinge. Matte champagne dial with applied gold Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial and yellow gold Cathedral hands. Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 23 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with five adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometre regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Movement signed Touchon & Co., case also signed Wittnauer & Co.
