A very fine and rare French, thin, jumping and wandering hour, 18 Carat white gold keyless dress watch, circa 1930. A polished, Empire case with an inclined bezel. Fixed matte silver dial, a ring with painted radial Arabic numerals for minutes, the time indicated by a revolving central disc with a guilloché arrow and digital jump hour visible in an aperture at the arrow’s tip. A rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bi metallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring and an index regulator.
