A very elegant French 18 carat yellow gold keyless pocket watch, circa 1990. A massive Empire case, coin-edge band, flat crown and circular pendant. Matte silvered dial on solid gold, hand-guilloche, offset brushed chapter ring for the minutes with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and blued steel Breguet hands. Rhodium-plated movement, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
