An early Swiss 18 carat rose gold keyless pocket watch with extra quality movement, circa 1900. Retailed by A.H. Rodanet, Constructeur de Chronomètres, 38, Rue Vivienne, Paris. A polished case, engraved monogram on the inner cuvette and a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and pink gold spade hands. Rhodium plated movement, 17 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight line calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, index regulator with micrometric adjustment. Case signed and numbered, cuvette signed by the retailer.
