An exceptionally heavy Danish 18 carat rose gold hunting cased minute repeating pocket watch with patented bow time setting made by Jules Jürgensen in Copenhagen, circa 1880. A polished plain case. White enamel dial with radial Roman hours, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and steel moon hands. Nickel finished precision lever movement with some jewels in screwed gold chatons, wolf’s tooth winding and patented bow setting, repeating the minutes on two gongs activated by a slide in the band. Case and movement with matching numbers. Case, movement and dial signed.
