A fine Danish hunting cased pocket watch with chronograph, patented Jürgensen bow setting and copy of the Jürgensen records, circa 1872.
18 carat gold, engine turned, à goutte case with reeded band, engine turned and signed gold dome, chronograph pusher at “12” and patented hand setting device. Signed enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, auxiliary seconds, centre chronograph hand and blued Breguet hands. Signed bridge movement, ébauche: Piguet Frères, rhodium-plated, with “fausses côtes” decoration, large gold screw compensation balance and counterpoised lever.
