A fine Danish hunting-cased pocket watch with patented Jürgensen bow setting, circa 1868. 18-carat gold, engine turned, à goutte case with reeded band, engine turned and signed gold dome Patent 1867 January 15 and case maker’s punch mark JAD. Signed enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds and blued Breguet hands. Bridge movement, ébauche: Piguet Frères, rhodium-plated, with Geneva striping decoration, wolfteeth winding wheels, gold screw compensation balance and counterpoised lever.
