Gold hunting cased pocket watch by Jules Jürgensen

A very fine, rare Danish minute repeating hunting cased watch with split seconds chronograph, patented Jürgensen bow setting, original certificate and mahogany box, circa 1889.
18k gold, engine turned, à goutte case; inner lid with presentation engraving: “To Jos. Rosenberg from his friend K. J., May 1890”, with engine turned and signed gold dome, pusher for chronograph at “12 and 2” and slide for repeating mechanism. Signed enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, split-seconds and blued Breguet hands. Nickel-plated ground bridge movement with ébauche: John-César Piguet, double hand indication with ratchet wheel for split seconds, finely ground chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, 2 hammers, 2 gongs, gold screw compensation balance and counterpoised lever.
