A very fine Danish, 18K yellow gold minute repeating hunting cased keyless pocket watch with split-second chronograph, circa 1889. Accompanied by a copy of the Jules Jurgensen archive confirming the sale to Tiffany & Co. of CHF 1246.70. The inner back cover with dedication inscription, and a glazed cover for the movement. White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, red outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and blued steel Breguet hands. Rhodium plated movement, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Case, dial and movement signed.
