A fine English silver pair cased keywinding pocket watch made by Hodgson Nicholson & Co., Birmingham, circa 1791. A polished outer and inner silver plain case. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and yellow gold pear hands. A gilt brass movement, fusee and chain, verge escapement, polished steel monometallic balance and blued steel flat hairspring, pierced and engraved gilded English cock with an urn and foliage. The movement is signed.
