A very early German precision open faced silver pocket watch, circa 1878.
High-grade silver case (later made for this movement) with German 900 silver punch and casemaker’s punch HV. Precision lever movement with gold lever, gold escape wheel, diamond endstone and screwed gold chatons. Signed enamel dial with Roman hours, sunk subsidiary dial for the seconds and blued steel hands.
