A German 14 carat gold hunting cased pocket watch, circa 1923. Sold on 21.03.1923 to Mr. Julius Herz, Wiesbaden for 1,100,000 mark. White enamel dial, Arabic numerals, Empire form, small second and gold hands. Solid, smooth ‘Imperial’case, monogram ‘K.H’ to the front. Gold cuvette. Gold plated, grained 3/4 plate movement, gold screwed bimetallic compensation balance, index spring adjustment, gold anchor, visivle ruby ​​jewels, blued screws. Dial and movement signed. Comes with a certificate from the German Watch Museum in Glashütte and the original box.
