Judging from the unbelievable love of detail and the extremely finely crafted individual parts, this watch is a very fine piece of a highly skilled watchmaker. Unfortunately nothing is known about ‘Celestin Ratie’. L’École Nationale d ‘Horlogerie de Cluses was founded by Achille Benoit in 1848.
