A German silver open faced pocket watch with rare 24h dial, circa 1937. Sold 24.05.1937 to L.H. Aldag, Weimar, Germany. Gilt, grained ¾ plate movement, steel anchor and anchor wheel, 15 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance with screwed gold weights, blued screws, swan neck adjustment. White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and outer minute ring, blue 12-24h display, blued steelhands, small and sunk seconds. Plain ‘Royal’ shaped case. Movement and dial signed. Comes with a certificate of the German Watch Museum Glashütte an the original box.
