A fine and elegant 18 carat gold, enamel and rose cut diamond set, lady’s keyless pendant watch. Made by LeCoultre & Cie in Vallée de Joux, Switzerland Circa 1900. Four body and bassine case with the bezel, band and back cover overlaid with matte turquoise enamel, the back cover cast and chased in relief with a gryphon’s head issuing from scrolling foliage set with a single rose-cut diamond and with a hinged gold cuvette.
White enamel dial with blue Arabic numerals, outer gold dot minute divisions and gilt Louis XV hands. Matte gilt movement with 8 jewels, cylinder escapement, three arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring and an index regulator.
