A Swiss yellow gold plated open faced keyless pocket watch made by Cortébert Watch Co. – Juillard & Co. in Bernese Jura, circa 1940. Art Deco pocket watch, case back with geometric patterns. Gilded colour metallic dial, with suspended applied Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 and gilded metal Feuille hands. A rhodium plated movement, going barrel, gold screwed chatons, straight line lever escapement, monometallic screw balance and self compensating Breguet hairspring, polished steel index regulator. Signature on the dial and movement.
