A fine English 18 carat gold half-hunting cased minute repeating keyless pocket watch, circa 1907. A solid case by Joseph Walton (Master mark), polished with black enamelled Roman numerals around the port hole, the back engraved with the Coat of arms of Bevan of Fosbury, Wilts and Trent Park, with the motto: Deus Proesidium, gold bow and a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds and blued steel double spade hands. Frosted and gilt movement, three-quarter plate with raised going barrel, 15 jewels in screwed settings for the going train, pointed tooth lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold timing screws, free-sprung Breguet balance spring, ruby end-stone. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Dial and movement signed, numbered on the case.
