An English center seconds lever in a gold full hunter case, hallmarked Chester circa 1914. Gilt three-quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. English table roller lever escapement. Signed white enamel dial with center seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, and gilt spade hands. The movement hinging from the one-piece body of the plain 18 carat full hunter case. Small chronograph slide in the band to stop the balance. Maker’s mark ‘WTS’ in an oval. The number corresponding to that on the movement.
