A very fine English half hunting cased lever chronometer with 30h power reserve indication, circa 1907.
18 carat gold tiered case with gold dome with dedication engraving, inlaid blue enamelled Roman numerals and case maker punch mark “FT” (Frederick Thoms). Signed enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, subsidiary dial for the 30h power reserve indication and blued double spade hands. 2/3 plate movement, frosted, gilt, signed, screwed chatons, chain/fusee, English lever escapement, large gold screw compensation balance, blued freesprung balance spring, chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
