Small silver duplex pocket watch

An English duplex in a silver open faced case, hallmarked London circa 1840. Key wind gilt Lépine caliber movement with suspended going barrel, polished steel Geneva stop work. Plain cock with garnet end stone, polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Duplex escapement, brass escape wheel, pivots with end stones. Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand with gold arbor and gold Breguet hands. Engine turned silver open faced case with ribbed middle, wound and set through the silver cuvette. Maker’s mark ‘CBH’.
