An English fine pair cased gilt verge watch, circa 1790, gilt verge movement, pierced and engraved balance cock. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates.
White enamel, Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, blued steel beetle and poker hands, gilt inner case with shagreen outer case decorated with piqué work to the bezel and back, signed on the movement.
