A fine English gilt and champleve enamel, pair cased watch with matching chatelaine, circa 1730. A pair of cased, Louis XVI, the bezels with brown and green geometric champleve enamelled decoration. The back panel of champleve brown and yellow floral decoration, matching châtelaine. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and gold poker and beetle hands. Hinged, gilt brass full plate movement with square pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass English cock, micrometric potence adjustment. Movement signed.
