A fine English 18 carat gold key wind pair cased pocket watch with enamel decoration, Hallmarked London 1776. Full plate fire gilt movement with fusee verge, pierced and engraved balance cock, blue steel spiral hairspring, diamond end stone, silver regulation disc.
White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, black outer minute divisions, gilt beetle and poker hands.
Polished gold inner case with enamel decorated outer depicting cupid and two allegorical figures, border of white enamel faux split pearls set in the bezel of dark translucent blue champlevé enamel on an engraved ground. Signed movement, case stamped IL.
