A yellow gold English enamel verge watch with chatelaine, circa 1784, gilt full plate verge movement signed Wm. Hughes, London, pierced and engraved balance cock, diamond end-stone.
White enamel dial, Arabic outer.
Case back centred with an oval miniature painted en grisaille, with green enamel band and blue enamel surround, matching chatelaine with enamel panels painted en grisaille.
