A fine and rare Swiss, 18K yellow gold and guilloche enamel keyless, half-hunter pocket watch, circa 1900. The front case with engraved foliate pattern with black enamel, centred by blue guilloche enamel with white Roman numerals and inner minute track, the back with a similar pattern centred by a blue guilloche enamel background with an engraved floral bouquet with diamonds. Gold hinged cuvette.
White enamel dial with black painted Roman numerals, outer track for minute divisions with painted gold 5-minute markers. Blued steel spade hands. A rhodium-plated movement, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, wolf’s tooth winding, monometallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator.
