A fine English 18 carat gold gentleman’s pocket watch with English lever escapement with stop/start seconds, circa 1867. Gilt 3/4 plate English lever, cut and compensated bimetallic balance.
White enamel dial, black Roman numerals, black outer minute divisions and 0-60 scale, gilt spade hands, centre seconds. Engine-turned round case, plain cartouche to back, start/stop button in the band at 2. Signed movement, case stamped S&R.
