A heavy 18K gold English pocket chronometer of exceptionally high quality, circa 1802.
Signed and numbered very fine detent chronometer movement like Earnshaw, chronometer balance with three different weight types, diamond endstone, helical hairspring, No.508. Enamel dial (hairline) with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and gold spade hands. 18K gold polished case, London Hallmarks, probably 1802, master’s mark TH for Thomas Hardy.
