Gold chronograph with moon phases

A Spanish 18 carat yellow gold minute repeating keyless pocket watch, circa 1900. With triple-date calendar, chronograph, register and moon phases. The movement is Swiss, retailed by El Trust, Madrid. Made for the Spanish market, circa 1900. An entirely engraved and engine-turned case with flowers and scrolls, olive-shaped button at 4 for the start/stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with prize medals and technical details.

White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute track and outermost fifths of a second division, subsidiary dials for the seconds. Date concentric with 30-minute register, apertures for the days of the week, months and for the moon phases and blued steel spade hands. Frosted gilt movement, 21 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, centrifugal governor, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a push-button on the band. The dial is signed.
