An English lever deck watch in a silver open face case, hallmarked London circa 1912. Gilt three-quarter plate keyless movement with Ministry of Defence broad arrow. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Screwed in jewelling. English table roller lever escapement. Signed white enamel dial with Ministry of Defence broad arrow, subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals and blue steel hands. Plain silver open face case. Maker’s mark ‘WB’ in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.
